-Friction Bolt -42-2100mm reference to the AS/NZS1594 / ASTM A1011 standard.
-Usually combined with domed plates, provides anchoring force for rock strata.
-The Friction Bolt -42-2100mm undergoes very stringent tensile testing to ensure product quality.
-Friction Bolt -42-2100mm is roll-formed into a C-shaped bolt with a slot by a high tensile steel band, which one end is tapered for easily inserting the bolt into drilling hole. The other end is welded a ring to hold the bearing plate.
Friction Bolt -42-2100mm Functions
Friction Bolt -42-2100mm is a frictional ground support system. When friction bolt is inserted into drilling hole with smaller diameter, the slot partially closes and bolt diameter is compressed, which creates radial forces on rock roof surface along the whole length and firmly holds the rock.

How to work
First, thoroughly evaluate the ground conditions.
Select the appropriate drill bit and create a hole that matches the diameter and length of the friction bolt.
The hole should be drilled according to the specified procedure, ensuring it is at least 150mm longer than the friction bolt.
Attach a plate onto the friction bolt with the dome facing the ring and the tapered end leading.
Install the friction bolts so they are perpendicular to the rock surface, ensuring optimal anchorage.
Insert a driver dolly into the bolt and drive the friction bolt into the hole until the plate is securely against the rock surface.
Once the plate is tightly fixed to the rock, avoid hammering the friction bolt further to prevent any damage to the end of the bolt.
After installation, conduct pull tests to assess the initial anchorage strength of the friction bolts.
